Garbage Disposal

In the Gorge, some residents have access to subscription curbside garbage, recycling, and yard debris service. In other more rural areas, curbside service is not available, which means residents in these areas are responsible for "self-hauling" their garbage and recycling to their closest transfer station. Anyone may also take their garbage to the Wasco County Landfill, located just on the south side of The Dalles.

If curbside garbage pick-up is available where you live, contact the hauler in your area to set up an account. Yard Debris service is available to residents served by Hood River Garbage Service and The Dalles Disposal.
